When I open the philippine tv, all I see are all these singers and actors singing, singing, and more singing. But when I see a tagalog movie, there is none! Isn't it ironic? Whatever happened to the musical? There are no musicals in the Philippines anymore despite the fact that every actor/actress thinks they could sing (and do on TV). The last group who made musicals were guy and pip and vi and bot and ricky belmonte and rosemarie. Remember? Bollywood does it all the time, and so does Hollywood like Moulin Rouge and Chicago.
